It's so horrible,
I don't know when this whole scenario is going to change, people are dying of health problems and govts are fighting useless and hopeless battles,or in countries like Pakistan, they are just feuling their personal bank accounts, yes Andy it's not easy being thal in Pakistan, and though things are changing slowly but they are still far from better,it's tough for us even if we can afford it,sometimes i think about majority of people who are unable to treat their children properly due to poverty, they are not literate so they don't know much about thal, they are told that their kids will not be able to live longer then their twenties,i have met parents who consider their kids useless efforts,i once met a lady who had the match for her daughter for bone marrow transplant, when i asked her that what she was waiting for, she said she is going to die anyway!!,that's the attitude here towards thal, when people come to know about zainab's thal, they are always shocked and they show sympathies like my daughter is going to pass away any moment,(God Forbid),and when i tell them that now a days thal is a managable blood disorder they look at me like i am nuts, but this is what i believe in,whatever they think or say,i have faith in God,HE gave our daughter this disorder and HE is the ONE who is giving us strength to fight it.
But it's really horrible to hear about a young person dying,May ALLAH give Hamza's family peace and Sabr,
May his soul rest in "JANNAT-UL-FIRDOUS".Amen.
ZAINI.
