Sometimes , God breaks our spirit to save our soul.
Sometimes , He breaks our heart to make us whole.
Sometimes , He sends us pain so we can be stronger.
Sometimes , He sends us failure so we can be humble.
Sometimes , He sends us illness so we can take better care of our selves.
Sometimes , He takes everything away from us so we can learn the value of everything we have.

Manal,

This would be very different from a stem cell transplant, which uses mature stem cells harvested from blood. This would be using embryonic cells which can become any cell in the body. However, this is a very new line of research that has been slowed greatly over the past 8 years by Mr Bush as he pandered to right wing religious elements in the US. Over the next few years we will be seeing much progress in this field. I think the only thing that has happened so far in relation to blood disorders would be the work on retrodifferentiation, which is still a fairly experimental process which does not rely on embryonic stem cells.

Thanks Andy. I really hope genetic disorders will enefit from this new research

Speaking of retrodifferentiation, my hematologist told me that Dr. Abu el Jadael will use the stem cells of HLA matched siblings this year without using chemotherapy on patients (mixed chemirism), i will update you if i know anything new
