Looking for a Doctor/ Hematologist in England

Hi Everyone
I was just wondering if anyone knows of any doctors/ hematologists in England who understand some of the issues around beta thal minor? I want to see someone who can do the right blood tests and give me good advice etc on this topic and who won't laugh at me when i say what we are all saying here.....

I understand that Dr Shah is a wonderful doctor, but be prepared as always for symptoms of thal minor being discounted as not related to thal. All I can say is doctors should check this website before saying that, as far too many minors have come here with very similar symptoms and it doesn't take a math whiz to tell you that the odds are astronomical that so many minors could all have the same symptoms and not have it related to thalassemia.

I will take my husband with me as he knows I am not mad and will back me up when they say I am imagining it all!
