Thank you guys for your concern,

The last days were frightful here. It is scary to start thinking to pack your valuables and leave everything else back, first of all your house. And that's what my husband and I did. We packed and left our home, not knowing whether we could come back and find it again. The situation was terrible, thank God now everything is ok. Well, not exactly everything. Many houses were burned down, properties, cars but above all so many trees, bushes, forests outside Athens that really provided us with oxygen and fresh air and stopped floods. The fire burned down an area of about 150.000 acres northeast of Athens. They say that the temperature is going to increase now during summers and there will be toxic particles of air in the atmosphere for very long now. God help us!

Again thank you all,

Lena.

Umair,

That is wonderful news.  Remember, now that your SF is low - when you chelate more iron is being removed from your organs so your health will improve much more now.

So so so happy and proud!

Congratulations, Umair!

Good for you!

With less effort now you will maintain this level, but do not relax and leave yourself totally uncontrolled.

Umair,

You've done great and the several months with low ferritin means that you have your free iron under control and that the chelator can now do its main work of removing the iron from your organs. Over the next year or so, your organs will become clean and their function will improve. You are also already seeing how much easier it becomes to comply with treatment if you do comply and get your iron under control. Everything becomes easier. Watch your liver levels because you may find that chelation alone is helping to keep the hepatitis in check. If you do decide to try interferon, this will also work better with the lower iron load, giving the drug a much better chance to work.

You've done good, buddy. I am very proud of you and your efforts.
Andy

All we are saying is give thals a chance.
