I don't know of this is the right place.
Ferritin still goes up by Exjade of 750mg. I have now increase it to 1125mg. I hope it won't take me another 8 - 9 months to get it down. Any help would be apericiated (sp?)

beside the few desferal wastege scene during transfusions , and a few week gaps of Ferriprox ...

your level went from 458.2 ng/ml to 590.1ng/ml,  does that mean something?

Good question, love and prayers, and I am sure others would want an explanation. The difference is slight in measured ferritin and we know that ferritin is not a stable count, as it is affected by other conditions in the body. The real significance is that Umair is maintaining a stable ferritin level with a much reduced chelation regimen. Not long ago, our nice friend was taking IV desferal and kelfer. He is now on a normal chelation program and the fact that he is maintaining a stable ferritin level, shows us that the hard work is now done. Umair can now maintain a level, rather than aggressively fight to reach that level.

yeah ,, that means i missed Ferriprox for more than a month mayb for 40 days  (time to time since last january to November in whole 9-10 months ,, :D ) .... actuly 9 tabs a day and 2 desferal was gr8 combination it was doing its job really well and it was slowly lowering down Ferritin as i needed at that time ,, but unfortunately i missed a few days of ferriprox doses that played its role in all that .,,,, n yeah a few time Desferal Wastage Scene putted its share as well ( as a few oh thal pals knows that sumwhere in mayb Auguest 2010 one of my status update on FAceboo was " i wasted Desferal for the very 1st time in last 2-3 years due to Fever " ...... then in january 2011 when i went to see my doc she added 1 more Desferal after seeing this Hike in Ferritin level ,, so i'm sure it will b much better in control than it was ,,, i hope my next Fe Report will b much better and encouragin than the last Fe report ....
