I feel like a little kid in a toy store.

Three years ago I went to Melbourne to meet Professor Bowden. While there I actually met 12 fellow patients just like me. I would have been happy to meet just one.
My husband and I couldn't get over the fact that people understood me when I said Thalassaemia.
I haven't come down from the clouds yet.... and now to be reunited with this site......my feet are never touching the ground (hahaha)

I still getting use to the fact that I have this technology where I can contact people just like me

Makes a wonderful change from just having my specialist's and adopted family's ear
