Thanks Andy - I think I spelt it incorrectly it is: Deschiens Syrup of Haemoglobin. It did not contain any iron additives, it was just some way they processed sheep's blood an added sweetner, both look and tasted like blood.
I am not able to take iron and that as would be expected complicates my treatment. Can a minor deteriorate, to another category, or would that come about from a misdiagnosis?
I wonder about it, not just for myself, but members of my family ( only seems to affect the females for some reason or other), who never were bothered by symptoms now have developed major symptoms. I suspect menopause highly contributes. But in other situations where menopause is not present, I am now hearing of symptoms and problems in varying family members living in different places. I stress that they live in different places because they are exposed to different climates, lifestyles and diets, and I therefore can find no common link that would cause so many female family members to be reporting problems. Its as if the gene was dorment and something triggered a reaction. Any guesses, or have you heard of anything like that before?
Actually, I cannot think of a single male member of my family who is affected.
