It is very good to hear from you again and wonderful news to know you're managing your ferritin well. You are very right about exjade being just one of the coming treatments that will be like miracles for thal patients.
I do have a couple questions for you.
Was the extramedullary hematopoiesis treated with only hydroxy?
Have you found anything else to help with the severe pain?
I would also like to ask people to read Riccardo's previous posts. A more extreme situation would be hard to imagine, yet Riccardo has always maintained his positive outlook and attitude. Your own reaction to life's challenges are what determine your own attitude towards life. Riccardo should be an inspiration to us all.
