im just wondering... is there a statistic that say that females are more likely to have thal?
in this site almost everyone that post topics here are females or am i missing it out?
thanks
@ Sajid I
It's just that ladies like socialize more than us guys.
It's perfectly normal.
@ Carmi
there is no stastics regarding your question ... but here are more thalassemia maj females than the males, who are close to 50s and has crossed 50s ... i think here on this site some males are near to 50s and 1 or 2 are 50s plus ....
mostly womens spend their time at home and those womens use's internet to spend their free time .. but mens has to go for work and it become difficult for them to spare time for internet for this purpose.. i know many thal mens here who didn't post that much bcoze of short spare time ... thats why, you found a big amount of posts from females on the site ...
take care
