Hello,
First of all: I am not so stressed anymore as I was.
Today I went to the hospital for the tests.
First I went in for the echo. It is very interesting to look with the doctor on the screen
. Ofcourse, all I know is that blue the blood that is flowing back, red that is flowing through and yellow/red is the heart?? I hope that some day I will able to see the common echo of a baby. That should not a lot easier to recognize!
After a while the doc asked: Did you have an operation? I said: "yes..... I dont have a galbladder and a spleen anymore. Doc: Oooooh
He went further and rechecked it a few times. Then he went to my kidneys. Is it normal that this hurts like someone stab a fork in your side? (Yes, I am bit nervous about that). Only touching that area hurts from time to time.
Then he went to the office to the head to discuss the results. At the time I had sweep all the gel from my body, the door went open and the Head wanted to do it by himself.
To be short (and unofficial) the roads of gall (spelling? word?) are enlarged, but it is possible that's because I dont have a galbladder. The problem is that there are no other photos to compare with.
After this it was time for the blood tests. Three tubes; 2 purple and 1 green.
I had to wait for the thorax photo because the office was closed, but after 20 minutes we heard you can always go to the echo area...so off we went again. The wait was long, the photo short, and the conversation zero.
Tomorrow I will hear the results and I will tank up. Personally, my inner voice says that they haven't found anything. However, I am thankfully that I got a doctor who seems to believe that I am really are in horrible pain during those strange attacks.
Thank you,
Dore
p.s. From saturday to sunday I hope to attend a birthdayparty of an uncle and aunt. They celebrate it on one of the Frisian Islands. I say hope, because everyone is a bit nervous about how my body will reaction on this new blood transfusion.
My nickname Door is a sweet variant of Dore. The sweetest variant is Dori (or Doriii).
