We got the results back and it is all good, they have not ruled out Thal minor. I don't understand fully how come they can't tell us that for sure.
The following is the pathology report
Haemoglobin 120g/L
Red Cell Count 5.0 x10*12/L
Haematocrit 0.36
Mean Cel Volume 72 fL
Mean Cell Haemoglobin 24 pg
Haemoglobin H bodies Negative
Haemoglobin Electrophoresis
Haemoglobin A2 2.7%
Haemoglobin F <1.0%
Alkaline EPP Result No abnormal band detected
Comment:
The haemoglobin A2 level is normal and no haemoglobin H bodies could be demonstrated. However in view of the microcytic red cell indices a thalassaemia trait cannot be excluded.
Our Doctors said that the microcytic red cells could be from iron deficiency or thal minor and not to worry about it until such time as he wants to have children.
?? Can a Thal minor donate blood, I don't imagine that they could.

Thank you to everyone for their support, I prayed for 7 days straight and I wish you all the very best and I would love to keep visiting as a friend of Thals.
Love to you all God Bless
