Hi Jade

Sometimes i do too but i believe that this cramps would be due to a deficency of some minerals in the body such as calcium, magnesium and some times dehydration. In the link below you can read about a very interesting site about cramps and their causes

Hi Jade
Here`s a little trick to control cramps. When you feel you are begining to cramp pull your toes towards you, the cramps will stop there and then. It always works for me but you have to be real fast in holding your toes and pulling it towards you.

take care

Thank you Manal and Maha

I dont think it is deficiency because I take daily supplement which includes all the minerals and not dehydration because I have it in winter mostly.  May be it is because my feet stay constantly cold, what do you think?

I have tried your way Maha but as soon as I release the toe it goes down and starts hurting again, I mean the cramp sets in again .  At times I hop or put the foot in hot water.  Sometimes it works but most of the time not.

Thank you again for your input.

Take care
Jade
