The spam filter stopped about 8000 spammers since February 12. Even though they were screened out as spammers, I still had to delete each registration. As the amount of spammer registrations was climbing every month, I have had our host add a new module that asks registrants to do an easy math problem. The first night in operation, not a single spammer was able to register. Normally there would be 30-40 new registrations overnight. Last night, we had one and it was a real person. Finally, we may have a solution that works, since captcha did absolutely nothing to stop the spammers. What a relief!
