PROBLEMS OF DESFERRAL

Hello, i have update with my side effect from DFO.I start is 3 times per week +everyday ferriprox/6pills/
First and socond day after using dfo my leg get swollen and i have rash on it.My doctor said to me this is from dfo, so i stop it and now my leg is getting better.

No on my foot, i make dfo in my stomach :-\It get red and with rash sometimes,too.

A swollon leg with rashes is stil better than iron overload, in my opinion!

Be careful. this is the sign of more trouble. I think your concentration of desferal is too high. Is there any chance you can change that? I would recommend that. Also what many do you take and about how many hours (or interval)?

Hmmmmm I thinking hard. As for me:
Ferriprox didn't let me walk at the end (it was painful and my legs were also swollen...were they?)
Desferal: rashes in all grades

I never took them both so I am a zero paper on that. But I did take 24x5 infusions of desferal. After this medical plan I took 9 pills of ferriprox a day.

Conclusion: we need more help!

Hi, Dore. I use 3 vials of dfo,im 50kg. Before i used 4.
Now i stop it and i feel better, only with ferriprox
P.S Life is great, i just start new work in reception so ill meet new people
