Iranian recipe
« on: June 08, 2009, 07:11:28 PM »
Hello,

Since we have a lot of members around the world I thought it was good idea to ask my question here. First of all, I do not know of it is really Iranian. I ate this dish at the Iranian New Year party 2009 from the Dutch/Iranian church. (It's a long story how I get there).

The dish:
At the time it is served it looks black. It's made from lamb meat, look & parley.

Does someone know the name of this dish or has a recipe. I hope so!

Thank you in advance,

Dore
p.s it did taste good. They had 4 big plates and when I did blink 2 times with my eyes and 3 plates where empty, so I started to walk fast to the 4th.

Hi, It's must be more that a year ago now. I think it is normally eaten as dinner. It was with meat, but I ate many more delicious plates that day. Owh yes, I think you did eat it with rice. I must express very well that people even run through the room to be sure that had something of that plate. It was very, very popular.
Thank you for your help.

I can't remember which one it was. Both looks yummy. Nah, I thought it was meat in a kind of sauce and pretty dark, so maybe the last? Could you share both addresses with me?  :blush :)
