My sister remains in a coma. Her condition seems to be stabilized for the moment. There has been no response to any stimuli so far. She is scheduled for another procedure on Monday to clean clotted blood out of one of the drains. The hospital in Gainesville is a well known teaching hospital and has a very good reputation, as does the neurosurgeon.

I thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. This has been a most difficult week that started on Sunday when my 18 year old son totaled his pickup truck. He's having some back pain but otherwise seems OK. The truck was mangled. Please continue to pray for my sister and send positive thoughts. The outcome with burst aneurysms is unpredictable, but we need to keep the most positive thinking.

I just spoke with my niece. My sister's condition has gotten worse. A fever has developed and the doctors don't know why. She looks visibly worse than earlier in the week. I do not have words to describe how I am feeling.
