Thanks Andy, this is very encouraging to me. It is not very easy and sometimes also very frustrating to have a conversation with doctors when they want to see you just as a patient...

It's especially frustrating when one takes the time to research and understand their own condition and doctors treat you like you know nothing. Quite often, the patients know more than the doctors.

Thanks for this post. I bought myself some L-arginine 500mg. It says take 6 times a day. What's the dosage for Thalassemics? Should we take 6 also?

1000 mg daily is a good dose.
