I suggest anybody on Exjade should print it out and take it to their Hematologist just in case. Sometimes a patient is more informative than doctors.

That couldn't be more true. It is up to the patient to make sure the doctors are kept abreast of any new developments. With both of these drugs, proper monitoring is essential and the doctors need to know what should be regularly done. Everyone, please follow their suggestion.

my son's creatinine has been slowly creaping up.  he is on 1500mg of exjade and his hematologist has now split the dose, instead of doing all at once, he does 500 in the am and 1000 in the evening.  i guess this is working for other patients, we have just recently started to take it this way so we will see if it helps. i will update as we go along.
