yesterday my blood count showed a little lower wbc count than usual. Since I'm taking both Hydroxyurea and L-carnitine I'm a little bit confused about the medicine I have to discontinue. My hematologist told me to stop Hydroxyurea for some days and then check my blood again.
The dose of both is low I guess ( 7 mg/kg Hydro and 25mg/kg L-Carnitine).
I read a Manal post in which is said that intermedias must take Carnitine just 5 days a week if they don't want to suppress bone marrow.
Is it my case in your opinion even if the doses is low?
