I hope someone might be able to help. I have just been called by my GP in England to ask me to come back for a blood test as they have found very high level (7) of potassium in today's blood test.
My question is in three parts
As this happened to anyone here.
Are there any possible link with Hemoglobin H desease
Is there anything I should be aware off (keeping in mind that in the UK doctors knowledge about thalassemia is minimal and I spend my usually short appointment explaining to them what is the desease and why I should not be put on iron....
Any help would be much appreciated
