Any further news that we have on the progress of the trials from Dr. Sadelain and 2 initial patients treated??

Good day Everyone,
I guess the most we can do now is keep the faith. Gene expression will take time, the key component here is the transfusion gap after transplant will be increased more and more until now more transfusions are required for these patients. I believe that Dr. Sadelain and his team are doing the best that they can at this point in time.The Global Impact is sure to come.

The latest is that one of the first two patients does now have an extended time between transfusions, so things are moving along.

Andy,
That is the best news we can expect at this time of the trial. I hope that by this time next year at least one, if not both of these first two patients will be transfusion free.
