Cord Blood Question - repost from Misc.

I just posted in the Misc. forum without seeing there was a specfic forum on cord blood. Oops.

I was wondering how cord blood could be beneficial to a Beta Minor?

Cord blood would be included under BMT, but I don't know of any therapy utilizing cord blood for thal minors.
