Short of breath 14 weeks pregnant

Hey, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on if this is a normal pregnancy or thal pregnancy issue? I have been getting short of breath whether it's walking, climbings stairs, or laying the couch at night.  This is my second pregnancy, and with my first I had a lot of issues with being short of breath, light headed, having heart palpitations etc.  I ended up getting iron transfusions after seeing a hematologist and the symptoms improved.  My hemoglobin remained in the 8-9 range during the pregnancy.  This pregnancy I have been taking pure absorb iron water, in an attempt to avoid the transfusions, and have not felt dizzy.  I have been getting headaches on the days I have been taking the iron, so I have started taking it every couple of days, rather than everyday.  My hemoglobin was an 11 at my initial 6 week appointment.  I have asked it be checked again at my 16 week appointment in two weeks.  I believe my hemoglobin will be at a similar level as the previous pregnancy.  My hands and feet have also been getting very cold, which happened last time too.  I plan getting a referral to a hematologist as well, but it's nice to know others experiences for what's typical.  TIA!
Crissy
