Generic versions of Sofusbuvir launched in India
« on: March 31, 2015, 06:36:27 AM »
Some good news on the Hep C front - Gilead has licenced Cipla, Natco Pharma and Zydus to launch its patented drug molecule, Sofusbuvir (Sovaldi), in India at prices that are a fraction of the cost in the US. Although it will still not be a cheap drug, at least most patients will be able to afford it either directly or through the help of some charitable organisations that have been working in this field.

Poirot,

This is good sign Gilead showing. 12 million in India that's huge I have seen unauthenticated may be over exaggerated posts related to the Hep C infection in Pakistan dangerously high.
In India I fear most for Hep C, Human errors and close minded doctors.

something interesting to watch http://www.ted.com/talks/thomas_pogge_medicine_for_the_99_percent
