I am Thal Minor, Male 52 year old Avid (OCD Avid) Cyclist the endurance type. Not the best choice....

Having read the posts talked with a few people on here, (Andy mainly) got some great info and am putting it into place to see if I can get better, improve, faster whatever you want to call it.

Any input suggestions would be much appreciated, and hopefully this will help others.

I am posting my blood results and in 6 months will redo and see if any change.
Haemoglobin concentration       102 g/L
Mean Cell Volume                   63 fl
Red blood cell count                5.28 10*12/L

Normal Diet is High Fat low carbs,
Weight 80KG Height 6ft BMI 14
Exercise (When not suffering broken rib,) 15-20 hours on bike, weight and core training.

Have been advised to take and I am now.
Magnesium and Zinc
Epson salts baths
Vitamin D but only by going on holiday as much as i can.
Vitamin E (D-Alpha tocopherol)
B complex
Folic acid, however have read that Folate is much better.
Wheatgrass powder at moment but cultivating my own.
Barley grass (as above)
L Carnitine
Creatine (this isnt for Thal)

L-methylfolate is the preferred form to take.

What helped me ride a bike long distance is what I call power breathing. I use deep powerful inhales, basically sucking air in with the diaphragm and then blowing it out powerfully. I could never ride distance without it. I can't run 400 feet without my asthma being an issue, but with power breathing, I can ride long distance.

in Yoga it is called BHASTRICA PRANAYAM, other pranayamas are also much beneficial in such cases.
