MRI showed significant bone marrow abnormalities

I tested positive for b-thal minor as a baby and have always had severe fatigue. I had an MRI of an injury of my right knee and the doctor is concerned about my bone marrow, because it shows significant abnormalities and he thinks I may have B-Thal intermedia instead of minor. Is this a normal thing? The bone marrow thing?

An examination of bone marrow will show how overactive the marrow is in trying to produce red blood cells. Apparently, they have seen something that suggests your marrow is more overactive than it should be with thal minor. I would suggest a DNA analysis to see what your exact mutation(s) is.

All we are saying is give thals a chance.
