Double Heterozygous Sickle Cell and beta thalassemia

My son diagnosed sickle Cell and beta thalaseemia.
 can you please comment my son 19 months old  has no shown any signs. he  has walked and his weight is 10 kg but he is Energetic he gets fever sometimes
his hb 8 to 9 and  HBF was 35.7 % and HBA was at 17.3 % HB S 42.9 and HB A2 4.1 % and no any blood transfusion ever.
  Andy can you suggest .  me carrier and my partner Heterozyhous Act Hb S . Hydra use last 8 months but no strong result because my son is very smart

The child is beta+ thalassemia, as shown by the presence of HbA. This is usually not a severe condition and should not require transfusions. Talk to your doctor about any precautions you should take to help avoid sickling crisis, such as going to high altitudes.

Dear Andy My question is that after one year  use hydra HBF is 35.7% and before use hydra HBF was 37.3%.
Plz suggest me can I stopped hydra or doses minimize?
