Chlorophyll powder and tablets

Pls advise. One of our relative has advised to start chlorophyll tablet / powder for my 9 year old thal Major daughter. Will it help? Brand name is Unicity. Her HB remains low and she needs transfusion every 15 days and sometimes even 10 days...
