Respected team & Andy sir pls advise invegation to be done for thyroid problem in thalassemia major on moderate to severe iron overload.
T3 , T4 & Tsh
Or
FT3 , FT4 & Tsh .

Most doctors only test the TSH to check for thyroid problems, but in thal majors, in addition to TSH, T3 and T4 should also be checked. The proper T3 test will measure both T3 that is bound and free T3.
