Thalessmia parents

Hello Sir, I am beta thalessmia father and my wife is normal (no trait) . Is there any chance of  thalessmia Major child?

In order for your child to have thalassemia major, they would most likely have to receive the gene from both parents. Since your wife cannot pass that on, I'd say no, you can't have a child with thalassemia major.

If you have thalassemia major, then your child will always get beta thalassemia minor. However, if you only have one gene, then there is a 50% chance that each child will get beta thalassemia minor.

As long as the testing was accurate, you're in no danger of having a thal major. If there is any doubt, have your wife undergo DNA testing for thalassemia.
