I'm a thal major who had now a type 1 diabetes, here in our country and most of the asian region, there are lots of alternative medicinal plants used to help controll diabetes.
I used to drink an herbal tea derive from the dried leaves of plant called "BANABA" I used it as in tea form to help me controll my sugar level at an average one, surelly it works and I can testify that. But I had to stop it because I'm not sure if it also contains free iron co'z we know that geen leafy plants specially the bitter one contains iron, like the bitter gourd vegetable. This plant here in our country it is known to help in controlling blood sugar level and it contains iron, I'm afraid to continue using banaba tea because I don't know if it really contains IRON, the reason I stop using it before..Can anyone prove that this plant contains free iron?please respond...tnx
