hey guys thanx for the replies ayesha is fine but doc start antibiotic , which we realy wanted to avoid but due to her congestion and cough we had to am giving her klaricid antibiotic and brytinil
hope she get well soon i dont want her to get pale again :(
and can some body explain what is hydroxy urea

Hi Ash,
Hydroxyurea or Hydrea is a fetal hb inducer which induces HbF,in result of which some thals ,mostly intermedias are able to maintain their hb without transfusing,but there are a few cases where it helped thal majors to prolong intervals between their transfusions.And its also a chemo drug.
