Before bluebird’s gene therapy, there was Pat Girondi and Errant Gene. Errant Gene developed gene therapy, guided by Dr Michel Sadelain, at Sloan Ketterring, but due to the impossible financial pressures of proceeding, they were forced to turn their work over to Sloan Kettering, who basically squashed the trials. This makes little sense at face value, but Pat Girondi has plenty to say about it and is suing bluebird in Court.
Here are the interviews with Pat about what has taken place and what is to come.
(One side note. When I point blank asked bluebird in 2014 where the vector they were using came from, bluebird refused to answer).
