Shall I stop Asunra the day she will be given Desferal or something else ?

A once per month desferal infusion means that chelation takes place only once per month. This is inadequate. Regardless of which chelator you use, it has to be much more often. Asunra is daily, which means you are getting chelation every day and this is what is needed in transfusing patients. You could also choose subcutaneous desferal 4-5 times each week, but once per month has limited value. The once monthly IV desferal can be still utilized, but it is only a supplement to regular chelation.
