I have a very important request of everyone.
One of my oldest friends from our group, Vishan (Vittey), is very ill. He recently went to India to have his joints examined by a doctor there, but when he returned to Maldives he had contacted viral fever. He has been very sick but was recovering but he has now taken a turn for the worse and is on oxygen.
I met Vittey at my very first chat that Lisa invited me to. He and Maako, Shaneez and Niuma were the first Maldivians I ever met and we have all been friends since. Vittey is very dear to me.
I am asking you all to pray for this young man as he needs our prayers so much right now. Please everyone do this and pray that God will take care of him and return him to health.
Thank you.
God's will be done.

Vittey's birthday is the 18th but he continues to do poorly. His heart is now working at only 40%. He has congestive heart failure. When I saw him it reminded me too much of Lisa but I tried not to show how scared I was to the group of Maldivians that were also visiting him then. His legs and feet and ankles are all very swollen as his heart is not strong enough to pump the fluids out of his body. The parallels with Lisa are very scary. She also had her birthday in the hospital.
We can only pray for him now.

I would just like to add this plea. If anyone knows of any treatment for congestive heart failure that may help Vittey please respond immediately.

Any update on Vittey? Trust and hope that he is well on his way to a full recovery.

The news on Vittey is not good. His heart has been failing and now his kidneys have also shut down. For me it is frighteningly familiar as when I saw Vittey in Maldives, it only brought all the memories of Lisa's last days flooding back. :'(
He has gone through the same progression as Lisa and once again there seems to be nothing the doctors can do at this point.
I am very sorry. Vittey is a very good friend who I counseled with much love.

I pray to God that he may go throught all this with ease :pray
