Title: Global Blood Therapeutics
Post by: Sharmin on August 29, 2015, 02:53:59 AM
Andy,

I have been hearing a lot about this company and a revolutionary treatment method for sickle cell anemia.  The stock price has risen 100% in recent weeks.

This is great for sickle cell and I hope everyone with sickle cell will benefit.

Is there a possibility that there will be benefit to thalassemia with this treatment?

Many thanks!

Sharmin

I can't find any information on this relating to thalassemia. I don't think it increases hemoglobin, so it may not have much value for thals. I think Luspatercept is far more likely to of value to thals.

Thank you Andy, I'm keeping my hopes on Luspatercept!
