Hi Andy,
Lil A finally seems to have recovered from the viral parasite. We have yet to do an ultrasound to confirm that the inflammation in the glands has has decreased, but I feel that it must be much better. During the infection, which lasted 3 months his glands were swollen and his intestines were very swollen causing him to be in a lot of pain and feeling bloated all of the time. Exjade certainly didn't help the situation, so we gave him a week long break twice during this time. For the first 6 weeks we also held the vitamin supplements.
I am now resuming his supplements, and he has requested that I try to find at least some of his vitamins in liquid form. I have found vitamin Bcomplex and vitamin D in liquid form. (I wonder if this may be a good idea for all young ones who feel sick after swallowing large pills).
