Dream on!
« on: November 01, 2006, 05:18:37 AM »
We are closer to gene therapy than the last time I heard those words in 1985, its been a long time.

However I started dreaming hey theres no tax on it, right?

what if you walked into a hospital tommorrow (distant future) got treatment for thalassaemia and walked out a normal person.

The question here would be "what would you do? what have you always dreamed to do if you did not have thalassaemia?"

I will start so here goes ... I would like to move house and stay in the country, where the grass is green and sky is blue and it rains but does not make the whole place muddy. Sounds like Kerala in India, gods on country!

Anyone else wishing to contribute to this thread?

I would immediately gain twenty pounds and try out for professional football (NFL), preferably the Philadelphia Eagles, but any team will do.
